Meet the Founder – Kati Ercsényi

My name is Kati Ercsényi, founder of Herbal Bar, and I'd like to share with you how it all began. 

The story, quite literally, started with my own skin.
Since the age of one, I've struggled with eczema and atopic dermatitis—a chronic skin condition that can be not only physically uncomfortable but also emotionally draining.

Over the past 30+ years, I've tried countless cosmetics, but none offered real, lasting relief. Pharmacy steroid creams gave temporary results, but I never felt they were safe or sustainable—neither for my body nor for my soul. This is what set me on the path of exploring natural solutions more deeply. I began to realize that the state of our skin is much more than just surface-level—it reflects our inner world, too.

And that's how Herbal Bar was born: a skincare system that nurtures not only the skin, but also the soul—helping me, at last, care for myself as a whole.

The Herbal Bar Philosophy

Our philosophy is simple but powerful:
We use only what nature offers us—purely and generously.

All our products are made from organic ingredients. Instead of distilled water, we use precious floral waters, and every cream, mist, and oil is the result of thoughtful design, love, and expertise.

Behind the scenes stands my mother as well—she's been a chemistry teacher for over 30 years. She ensures scientific precision and a solid foundation.

As for me, I consciously built this brand after completing studies in natural healing, aromatherapy, and cosmetic formulation. I wanted to create products that help you pause for a moment, take a breath, and reconnect with yourself.
