Momentum - The essence of nature
In the next part of our series, we arrive at the plant ingredients that form the heart of Momentum products. Lavender, Roman chamomile, Himalayan cedar, and bay leaf are not just fragrances. They carry ancient stories, spiritual messages, and skin-care power. Let's take a closer look at them.
Lavender – The purple flower of tranquility
We already talked about lavender in our previous section, but there are still some interesting facts we haven't shared about this very versatile flower. The ancient Romans added it to their bathwater, which is where its name comes from (from the Latin word lavare, meaning to wash), and later, in the Middle Ages, lavender was considered a protective plant and hung at the entrance to houses to ward off negative energies. In spiritual circles, it is often said that lavender aids clarity of vision.

Roman chamomile – A gentle embrace
Chamaemelum nobile is one of our most delicate and gentle medicinal herbs. It has a sweet, apple-like scent. In ancient Egypt, the plant was considered a gift from the sun god. It has a tension-relieving and calming effect, not only physically but also mentally. It has outstanding anti-inflammatory properties. It reduces redness and irritation of the skin.
Himalayan cedar – The power of stability
Cedrus deodara grows on the slopes of the Himalayas, and its name comes from Sanskrit: devadāru – "tree of the gods," which hints at its special status. It was often used as a sacred tree in temple architecture. Its deep, woody scent aids meditation. In skin care, it has refreshing and antiseptic properties.

Bay leaf – The plant of victory and purity
In ancient times, it was a symbol of glory and success, reinforced by the fact that victors wore laurel wreaths. It is considered a cleansing plant; in ancient Greece, fortune tellers burned bay leaves before making prophecies. It also has antibacterial properties.
The calmness of lavender, the gentleness of Roman chamomile, the stability of Himalayan cedar, and the cleansing power of bay leaves combine to create a balanced yet distinctive composition.
